The short version

We do not have accounts, we do not use cookies, and we cannot see the names you type into a game.

Your game data

When you set up a game, the party name, time, place, guest names and character assignments are packed into the links the site creates, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to our server, so it never reaches us. Anyone who has a link can read what is in it, so share guest links only with your guests, and keep your host link to yourself.

On your device

Your browser's local storage keeps a list of the games you created on that device, which acts you have unlocked, a draft of guest names while you type, and your Party Pass key if you have one. This data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. We also count a few anonymous events, such as "a game was created with 8 players" or "act two was unlocked," to learn what works. These counts contain no names, no game contents and no IP addresses.

Payments

If you buy a Party Pass, the payment is handled by our payment provider, which receives your email and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and the purchase record, and we use them only to deliver and support your purchase.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
